A fight between in-laws ended when one put a cigarette out on the other's neck, Pasco deputies say

PORT RICHEY, Fla - An argument between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law ended with a cigarette burn to the neck, according to Pasco County deputies.

Teresa Brumlow of 9420 Sterling Lane in Port Richey, is charged with domestic battery.

An arrest reports states on Friday around 4:00 p.m., Brumlow and her 38-year-old daughter-in-law began to argue.

During the argument, the 56-year-old Brumlow allegedly grabbed her daughter-in-law by the neck and then put a lit cigarette out on her lower neck, deputies say.

Deputies say the victim sustained a red abrasion on her lower neck area which was consistent with the size of a cigarette.

The victim reportedly told deputies that Brumlow's actions were intentional and wanted.

Brumlow was arrested and taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
