TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa community organization needs your donations to help needy families.
Tribe-Seminole Heights says elementary students are showing up to school during recent cold snaps in shorts and T-shirts because their families cannot afford to purchase winter clothes.
The group is now collecting donations to help those kids. There is an urgent need for boys sizes 8 to 12, especially sweaters and jackets.
You can drop off cold weather clothing in the bin located outside the Seminole Heights United Methodist Church at 6111 N. Central Avenue.
You can also donate money directly to Tribe-Seminole Heights and the group will do the shopping for you.
