HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. - Hernando County deputies say a mother was stalked and the man touched his genitals in front of her.
Eric Walterss of 16113 Fruitville Lane Street in Brooksville, is charged with stalking.
Deputies say that on November 4, the victim saw the 39-year-old Walters exposing and touching his genitals. She said Walters was seated in a white van and noticed the van had followed her from Barclay Road north to Cortez Boulevard.
The victim filed a police report and then reportedly drove with her young son to a convenience store around 10 p.m. She reportedly told authorities she noticed the same white van following her.
The mom said the man behind the wheel was Walters.
According to an arrest affidavit, the mother took multiple turns to see if the van was following her. Everywhere she drove the van tailed her, deputies say.
A deputy on the lookout for the car happened to be in the area and pulled the white van over.
The victim positively identified Walters as the man she saw earlier touching himself, deputies say.
The woman's son reportedly told authorities he also saw the white van following them.
An arrest report states that when Walters was questioned he denied touching himself.
Walters was arrested and is being held on $5,000 bond.
