A motorcyclist died Saturday morning in a two-vehicle traffic crash on East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Tampa, Tampa police said.
The accident caused police to shut down E. MLK Blvd. at North Nebraska Avenue in Tampa in both directions for several hours.
No details have been released about the accident other than the cyclist was pronounced dead due to his injuries.
MLK Blvd and Nebraska Avenue reopened to traffic shortly after noon Saturday, Tampa police said.
