TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Tuesday, July 2.

(1) Rep. Dennis Ross town hall meetings

Congressman Dennis Ross will host two town hall meetings on Tuesday.

Rep. Ross will spend the time answering questions from his constituents during the meetings.

The first meeting will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Lutz Elementary School cafeteria at 202 5th Avenue Southeast in Lutz.

The second meeting will occur from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Brandon Regional Service Center at 311 Pauls Drive in Brandon.

(2) Bay Pines VA Healthcare System 80th anniversary

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System will commemorate 80 years of providing VA health care to veterans during a tree planting and dedication ceremony on Tuesday.

The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. near Lake Timucuan across from the parking garage on the primary medical center campus.

Bay Pines Director Suzanne Klinker will speak at the ceremony.

(3) Florida KidCare Enrollment Assistance

The Kids Healthcare Foundation will be providing information on the Florida KidCare program at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa on Tuesday.

Children in a family of four earning up to $47,100 a year may qualify for free or low-cost health insurance offered through the KidCare program.

The Kids Healthcare Foundation will be giving interested families information on the program and application assistance. Radio Disney will also be onsite providing music and entertainment for families as well as health and educational activities.

(4) Target Tuesday

The Glazer Children's Museum is giving deal for families on Tuesday.

The museum is offering free admission prices for both children and adults from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. today.

Children must be accompanied by adults and adults must be accompanied by children.

The Glazer Children's Museum is located at 110 West Gasparilla Plaza next to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa.

(5) Red Bull Wake Art Project awards

Unique pieces of art using wakeboards as canvases will be unveiled in Tampa on Tuesday.

Artists from Florida, Tennessee and California were invited to create art for the Wake Art Project, which celebrates this weekend's Red Bull Wake Open to Tampa. The creations are be inspired by the question, "What Gives You Wings?".

The art will be on display outside the Tampa Convention Center throughout the Red Bull Wake Open competition on July 5 and 6. People can text to vote on their favorite pieces. The four winning boards will be awarded to the top Red Bull Wake Open athletes as their trophy prizes. 

The Red Bull Wake Open takes place from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The competition will air live on NBC-TV on Saturday beginning at 4:00 p.m.
