One of Tampa Bay’s best-known artists, the late Theo Wujcik, spent a decade creating a series drawn from the dark and profound literary classic, Dante’s “Inferno.” Now, these 10, extraordinary paintings are the theme for “Theo Wujcik: Cantos,” a special exhibition inspired by “Gates of Hell” and "Canto II," both in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. "Gates of Hell" is on view at the Museum for the first time since the MFA acquired it in 2017. Exhibition closes June 2.
