Hurricanes, floods, tornadoes and earthquakes - we have all seen the havoc that mother nature can cause at a moment's notice. May is Building Safety Month, an annual educational campaign led by the International Code Council, its members and partners calling attention to the importance of building safety. Week 4 focuses on Disaster Preparedness, and the Code Council wants to help everyone protect their homes and families pre-and post-emergency.
