The Florida Orchestra violinist Sarah Shellman will be the featured soloist in The Seamstress by Anna Clyne. Shellman has spent a year choosing, researching and practicing the piece, leading up to three big performances
this weekend, April 12-14, at the Straz Center in Tampa and Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, with a Sunday matinee. The concert also includes Brahms' Symphony No. 1 -- which took him a decade to compose. Gemma New conducts.
