Though 2018 has certainly brought changes to the tax landscape, there are some things that seem to stay the same. According to a survey of 3,000 Americans commissioned by H&R Block, 82% of respondents said they wish the tax preparation process was easier.
In fact, 57% of Americans say they’ve lost sleep or sacrificed free time on the weekends—just so they could deal with tax preparation.
Where once weekends were reserved just for fun, the emergence of the freelance economy has made free time even more valuable. And with more jobs come more tax considerations, AND more importance placed on time-saving technologies.
H&R Block’s Meg Sutton joins us to share additional survey results, tax tips and new options for time-crunched Americans who want an easier and more efficient way to file their taxes.
