Scouting for Food is a huge food drive that’s happening in neighborhoods all across Tampa Bay. It’s part of a nationwide effort called “Souper Bowl of Caring.” Scouts hang door hangers on houses between January 25 and 30, then return on February 1 to collect the food. In Florida alone, more than 850,000 children struggle with hunger. While the Super Bowl is about a winner and a loser, Scouting for Food is a way for young men and women to see how we all win when we team up and serve others.
