It's National Martini Day and we learned the basic from Bern's Bar Manager Doug Coe!
Classic Vodka Martini:
3 ounces of vokda
eyedropper vermouth
lemon peel
Shake Vodka until shakers have ice on the outside.
Strain into martini glass
Add drops of vermouth to taste
garnish with lemon peel
50/50 Gin Martini
1 and 1/2 ounces London Dry Gin
1 and 1/2 ounces Dry Vermouth
Orange Bitters
olives for garnish
Stir Vermouth, Orange Bitters and Gin over ice until mixing glass feels cold on the outside
Strain into coupe or martini glass
Garnish with olives
