Misadventures of an Outdoorsy Diva is an adventure travel blog,started by Lauren Gay, for women who love outdoor adventure,travel, foodie adventures, theme parks and out of the box activities. 
As a frequent visitor of state and national parks with her son, Lauren s excited to partner as an ambassador with National Parks Trust to promote their annual Kids To Parks day taking place May 20th, 2017. She is hosting a Kids To Parks Day event at Hillsborough River State Park.

Tips for a day at the park: 1. Wear sunscreen 2. Insect repellent, especially the wearable products like bracelets and clip on fans. 3. Stay hydrated but be greeen. Use a portable water bladder, or reusable water bottle that keeps your water cold. 4. Wear the right shoes to for the trail. 5. Be social and use the hashtag #kidstoparks that day while out with your families.
