The Humane Society of Tampa Bay has opened its new shelter which includes isolation areas for sick pets, a designated surgery area, state of the art medical machines, indoor/outdoor cat and rabbit rooms, 5 dog kennels, 4 doggie play yards and an open-air courtyard for guests to enjoy. The shelter also has a Humane Education Center which is designed to educate and engage kids who love animals and wish to learn more about the animals in our care while spending quality time with them.
This week, Liz McCoy, the HSTB Volunteer Manager, introduces us to their pet of the week.
