Hand to God took Broadway by storm in 2015 and now plays Tampa's Straz Center for a limited run Feb. 24 - Mar. 14 in the reconfigured-for-distance Jaeb Theater. Jobsite, the resident theater company at the Straz, is taking up shop in the Jaeb through the summer, where they just completed highly-lauded production of DOUBT that received an excellent review in the Wall Street Journal
Meek and mild Jason unwittingly throws the town into a tizzy when his Christian Puppet Ministry sock puppet becomes possessed by a foul-mouthed demon. Jason’s complicated relationships with the town pastor, the school bully, the girl next door and—most especially—his mother weather further turbulence at the hands of Tyrone’s dangerously irreverent personality. Hand to God explores the fragile nature of faith, morality and the ties that bind us. On stage Feb. 24 - Mar. 14 at the Straz Center.
Tickets start at $35.50.
