Guests who visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge travel to the planet Batuu and discover the mysterious Black Spire Outpost, a thriving port that’s a haven for scoundrels, rogues, traders and smugglers. It’s filled with the sounds of otherworldly music, the fragrance of exotic cuisine and sights never before seen. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened August 29, 2019 at Walt Disney World and May 31, 2019 at Disneyland Resort (Disneyland Park) in Southern California.
At 14 acres, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion ever in a Disney park. The new land features two new attractions – Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance (opened December 5 at Walt Disney World and January 17 at Disneyland Resort); imaginative food, beverage and merchandise; and droids, strange creatures and alien languages from across the galaxy.
