The prestigious Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit health care ratings organization,
announced its 2018 Hospital Safety Grades, and all seven participating hospitals in Florida Hospital West Florida Division received an A, the only health care system in the Tampa Bay Area to receive the highest score possible. Grades are assigned based on how well hospitals prevent medical errors, infections and other harms.
