DEA realizes that we can’t arrest our way out of the problem, so the DEA 360 Strategy Program was created in 2015 and rolled out to 20 cities across the nation where the opioid crisis has impacted the local community. The DEA 360 Strategy Program has a three-prong comprehensive approach: 1) coordinated Law Enforcement operations/efforts 2) Through Diversion Control – engaging and educating the medical community and 3) Community Outreach and Partnership.
