A new medical-grade 3-D printer at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is uniquely designed to create anatomy that will help take medical training and preparation to the next level. The new 3-D printer program is being launched as part of the Center for Simulation and Innovative Education. This specialized printer offers the ability to re-create anatomy, including a specific diagnosis or pathology, in minute detail with models so precise, they feel and respond like the real thing.
