It’s about to be “All About That Baby” for Meghan Trainor!
The 26-year old pop star shared the big news that she and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, were expecting, on social media and in a live, remote appearance on NBC’s “Today.”
“You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!!” the mom-to-be tweeted on Oct. 7, along with a darling ultrasound photo showing the little one. “[Daryl] and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this cutie early next year!”
In case you doubted her excitement, we count eight exclamation points, five emojis and four extra Ts at the end of the word “pregnant” in this tweet.

Sabara posted the same photo and a sweet message to his wife of almost two years, saying he “can’t wait to start a family” with Trainor.

You may have noticed all the Christmas decorations surrounding the ultrasound in those posts. That’s because Trainor is releasing a new Christmas album on Oct. 30 called “A Very Trainor Christmas.”
Her appearance on “Today” was supposed to focus on the upcoming album, but the expectant parents couldn’t keep the secret any longer and shared it with co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
“There’s actually other news that I’ve been dying to tell you,” she told the hosts. “And, my heart’s pounding out of my chest. And … hit it, Daryl.”
That’s when the cutest, tiny onesie that matched Trainor’s sweatshirt, which had a picture of Kotb on it, came into the shot, courtesy of Sabara. You can see the whole moment in this clip shared by the show on Twitter.

Apparently, the live announcement was the first time the couple had told anyone outside of immediate family about Trainor’s pregnancy and the couple said they couldn’t sleep because they were so excited to share the news.
“We were thinking about who do we tell first and I thought, ‘I’ve told Hoda since I was, like, 19 and going to the ‘Today’ show that I will have the most babies in the world and I’m so excited to have them someday. Every time I see you I’m like it’s going to happen, and it finally happened. I’m so excited!”
