ABC Action News puts the spotlight each Friday on a dog or cat that needs a "fur-ever" home.

This week we want you to meet Duke. The Animal Rescue Friends Network (ARF'N) rescued the 2-year-old Chihuahua mix from Redland in Miami-Dade County. He came from a tough place and is now ready for family to adopt him.

ARF'N reports Duke loves other dogs. He enjoys running around his foster family's backyard and playing with his foster brothers and sisters.

Duke is very loving and wants to sit by your side or in your lap. He is cat-tested, kid-approved and would be perfect for any size family.

Duke is currently being sheltered by ARF'n. If you are interested in adopting him, you can find additional information at www.arfn.org or by e-mailing info@arfn.org.

ARF'n adoption fees for dogs start at $75. The adoption process can take up to two weeks.
