Summer will be here before you know it and the kids will be out of school itching to stay busy. 

Here at ABC Action News we've come up with a list of the best summer camps for kids in the Bay area. 

We've broken it down into categories. 

Most Elaborate Summer Camps

Most Affordable Summer Camps

  • YMCA of the Suncoast offers different themes and activities every week throughout the Summer. Prices start around $100 a week. They also offer activities at Camp Muskogee.Learn more here. 
  • Most recreation centers offer affordable summer camps for kids. They feature different activities through the week. But, they fill up fast so act soon. Prices start around $100. Learn more about Tampa camps here. 

 

 

 

Sports Focused Camps

  • Is your kid into soccer? Try USF's soccer camps. Camps start in June.Learn more here. 
  • Does your kid love to ice skate? Or do they love the Tampa Bay Lightning? They can learn to skate at one of Tampa Bay Skating Academy's summer camps. Learn more here. 
  • Pasco- Hernando Community College also offers some unique sports camps. They offer things like baseball, basketball and softball. Prices start at $100 per week. Learn more here.
