Robin Roberts returns to Good Morning America on Wednesday

NEW YORK - Good Morning America's Robin Roberts will reach another milestone in her recovery from a bone marrow transplant on Wednesday when she returns to the anchor desk.

Roberts, 52, has spent the past five month recovering from the transplant to treat a rare blood disorder.

According to an interview with, Roberts says she has imagined the moment when she would take her seat again.

"I know when I sit back down… it's gonna be, all is right in the world.  And it's gonna seem like no time has passed at all," Roberts said in a candid chat with her co-anchors.

Wednesday will mark five months to the day since Roberts underwent the transplant to treat Myelodysplastic Syndrome or MDS.

Roberts said she is a bit nervous.  "I haven't done live television since the end of August."
