I am an Emmy-award winning journalist and the traffic anchor/reporter on Good Morning Tampa Bay.
No stranger to Florida, or the Bay Area, I consider myself a transplant native. I've lived in the Sunshine State for more than 20 years! I married my college sweetheart, Doug, in Key West and we are parents to two blue-eyed gingers, Lane and Maeve, and our sweet pup, Macy.
I'm a half-marathon runner, beach lover, recipe creator, and self-proclaimed navigational pro.
Before moving to Tampa, I was an anchor at WBBH - NBC2 in Fort Myers. While there I won numerous Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalist awards for special reports including the Gulf oil spill, the 2010 Florida gubernatorial election, and ongoing research at the Mayo Clinic.
I've also worked in Kansas, South Dakota, and Orlando.
I graduated from the Nicholson School of Communication at the University of Central Florida with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish.
