A proud Florida State Seminole and Tampa Bay area native, Carley could not be happier or more excited to be living her dream job in her home city! From her “bulldog” days at Zephyrhills high school, to her “news” days in Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) and Greenville, NC (WNCT), Carley has always loved the fascinating world of TV.
From hurricanes and presidential visits, to celebrity interviews and feature stories, Carley has just about covered it all. While anchoring the morning and noon newscasts in Greenville, she became an award winning journalist, but it wasn’t until she moved back to the sunshine state and began hosting the Morning Blend in Fort Myers, that she found her true passion. For 6 years Carley Co-Hosted The Morning Blend for our sister station, the Fox affiliate (WFTX), and that is why she is so excited to be on this show in the Tampa Bay area. If you are ever looking for a new restaurant to try, fun place to go or new idea to consider, Tampa Bay’s Morning Blend is the show to watch! She has seen first-hand how this show has such a positive impact on the community and our viewers. In addition to her time on the Morning Blend in Fort Myers, she also hosted and reported for a travel and entertainment show called “Paradise TV”. Both shows allowed Carley to explore all areas of the great state of Florida and helped her fall in love with the state even more than she thought possible.
Apart from working her “dream job” every day, Carley’s real pride and joy can be found off-camera. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Brooks Boyette who also happens to be a 7th generation Floridian. They have two beautiful young children and a lovable beagle named Paisley (named after country star Brad Paisley).
While her family, faith and career are the biggest passions in her life, this self-proclaimed “foodie” can also be found enjoying the music and art’s scene around the Tampa Bay area!
