If your New Year's resolution is to lose weight or get healthy, a new report just released just might help you.
The U.S. News and World Report has named the best diets of 2014. Topping the list is the
Mediterranean Diet, which focuses on a lot of fruits, veggies, and fish and very little red meat.
For weight loss, Weight Watchers was at the top of the list. The popular diet uses a "points" system and doesn't restrict food groups. But it was the "Dash Diet" that was named the "Best Overall Diet." The Dash Diet emphasizes a balance and variety of healthy foods including lean meats, legumes, whole grains, and vegetables and very little salt.
