Two areas of low pressure and a tropical wave are currently moving through the Atlantic. The first one, just east of the Leeward Islands, will head into the Caribbean this weekend and is likely to become a Tropical Depression or Storm very soon.
The second area of low pressure will take a track farther to the north, passing north of Puerto Rico over the next 5 days. This low pressure has a medium chance of developing into a tropical storm.
A third tropical wave is moving off the coast of Africa. This too could eventually develop into something over the next week as it generally moves west.
