First of its kind in Tampa Bay!!
July 7th – 11th, 2009 • Vinoy Renaissance, St. Petersburg FL
FISHING FOR CHARITY
The Old Salt Fishing Foundation and the Mike Alstott Family Foundation have joined forces to create a fishing tournament second to none. A Billfish Tournament, Inshore and Offshore Tournament and a Youth Tournament, this is the event for anyone’s salty needs! A Casino Night and Texas Hold’em Tournament are even in the mix for those who like their feet on solid ground.
What’s most unique about this combination of events is the main goal; raise money for children’s charities! The Children’s Dream Fund and The Mike Alstott Family Foundation are the benefactors
of this fishtastic event.

THE OLD SALT LOOP TOURNAMENT:
Operation Loop Development - Suncoast Angler’s Loop Tournament
Eligible species for photo and release billfish division are:
Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish and Swordfish.
The largest total of billfish points wins first place in Billfish Division. The second largest total wins second place. The third largest total wins third place. Weighed species are Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.
KIDS & TEEN FISHING TOURNAMENT:
This FREE event will be held Saturday, July 11th. Registration starts at 8am at the Vinoy Renaissance Marina, Downtown St. Petersburg. There will be divisions for ages 5 – 18 yrs old. Just bring your Fishing rod and we will supply the rest. A Kids Zone is also be available for awards following fishing.
THE MIKE ALSTOTT FAMILY FOUNDATION INSHORE / OFFSHORE SHOOTOUT:
This unique and rare multiple specie points-style tournament was created to give an equal playing field to all participants. Points are awarded per specie and per pound or inches of fish. Only two of the same specie can be weighed and a total aggregate of six fish will determine the winning teams.
