Accident & drive-time updates for Tuesday

  • E TAMPA: N 22nd St will be closed between Henry Ave & Clifton St starting 8:30AM thru Friday. Local detour in place.
  • N TAMPA CONSTRUCTION: 1 lane closed in each direction of Fletcher Ave in I-75 area until 4PM.
  • DOWNTOWN TAMPA: Right lane closed on eastbound SR-60/Adamo in various areas between Channelside & 19th St. 10AM-3PM all week.
  • PINELLAS PARK: A reminder that 66th St N expected to remain closed at the RR Xing near 90th Ave until Friday. Use Belcher, 49th or US-19.
  • A concert by The King's Men at the USF Sun Dome will impact parking on campus. Lots 22E, 22F and 6 are closed today. Lots 22A and 22D will close at 5:30PM and parking citations will be issued for those who remain in lots after closing time. More info on the closures is at this link.

9:00 -- I-75 TAMPA: Northbound traffic still slow approaching the Fowler Ave exit.

8:45 -- E TAMPA: Crash reported w/injuries on Falkenburg Rd between Woodberry & Broadway.

8:36 -- ST. PETERSBURG: New crash on 62nd Ave S @ 25th Way. Earlier crash on 38th Ave N @ 19th St, east of I-275 overpass.

8:31 -- TAMPA - TOWN N COUNTRY: Accident at Memorial Hwy & George Rd near Rocky Point Golf Course, west of Veterans Exwy.

8:25 -- E TAMPA: Some delays on northbound US-301 near I-4. Crash w/lanes blocked at Breckenridge (near Knights Inn)

8:21 -- I-4 TAMPA: Westbound traffic is heavy from Exit 3/50th into I-275 junction, but otherwise I-4 looks fine in Hillsborough & Polk counties.

8:17 -- CLEARWATER: Crash on westbound Drew St approaching McMullen Booth. Also still have accident on Belcher at Gulf to bay.

8:16 -- ST. PETERSBURG: Crash reported on 38th Ave N under I-275. Checking my traffic cameras there now.

8:06 -- TAMPA - WESTCHASE: Slow traffic in both directions of Linebaugh Ave between Westchase & Veterans Exwy. HCSO may be helping w/traffic control

7:58 -- VETERANS EXPRESSWAY UPDATE: Crash on inside shoulder southbound over Gunn. Capt Al says no delays north of Gunn, but slow traffic to south.

7:56 -- I-75 TAMPA: Northbound traffic slow approaching the Fowler Ave exit. Southbound traffic heavy, Apex to Fletcher. Live pics @ 7:56.

7:50 -- PINELLAS CO: Minor accident reported near St. Pete Clearwater Airport on Ulmerton Rd & Roosevelt.

7:47 -- DUNEDIN: Crash at Belcher & Solon, near Parklawn Cemetery.

7:45 -- CLEARWATER: Crashes at Gulf-to-Bay & Belcher Rd and Drew/Bayview.

7:27 -- SUNSHINE SKYWAY: Police activity on top of the bridge, SB I-275 toward Manatee County. Some delays out of St. Pete.

7:18 -- VETERANS EXPRESSWAY: Crash reported southbound near Ehrlich. Traffic already typically slow in that area.

7:17 -- TAMPA: Accident involving motorcycle on westbound Hillsborough Ave at Armenia with lanes blocked.

7:16 -- I-75 PASCO COUNTY: Right lane blocked on NB 75, 1 mile past SR-52. "Depression" in road. Could be pothole or sinkhole.

6:53 -- HERNANDO CO - BROOKSVILLE: Crash on Snow Memorial Hwy & Snow Hill Rd. No roadblock per FHP.

6:52 -- I-4 TAMPA UPDATE: Still have FHP on scene of earlier crash WB I-4 under I-275. Left shoulder now. Traffic delays at the junction.

6:45 -- I-275 TAMPA: Southbound traffic already getting slow out of N Tampa.

6:40 -- TAMPA: Traffic control detail on Linebaugh Ave & Henderson, just east of the Veterans Expressway.

6:39 -- HILLSBOROUGH CO - LITHIA: Crash in FishHawk Ranch @ FishHawk Crossing & FishHawk Blvd. @HC_Sheriff on scene.

6:33 -- LUTZ - LAND O LAKES: Hit and run reported at Collier Pkwy & SR-54.

6:22 -- I-4 TAMPA UPDATE: 2 vehicles involved in accident WB I-4 at I-275 have left. Road Ranger still with 2 cars. Left (inside) shoulder.

6:19 -- SARASOTA COUNTY: Accident w/injuries on SR-72 & Daughtry; Minor crash in Venice on River Rd & Venice Ave.

6:10 -- I-4 TAMPA: Accident on left shoulder, westbound I-4 approaching I-275. Road Ranger on scene. No traffic delays there yet.

6:02 -- I-4 DRIVE TIME westbound, McIntosh Rd to I-275 = 14 minutes.

5:36 -- I-75 HILLSBOROUGH CO: Hit and run reported southbound I-75 near Big Bend Rd.
