Chiefs Back in Action This Week in Jacksonville

You look for bright spots where you can when it comes to this Chiefs team.

And this statistic shows just how hard you have to look.

The Chiefs punt coverage unit ranks second in the NFL in opponents punt return yardage.

That's not exactly something to make fans think about ordering Super Bowl tickets, but you have to start rebuilding somewhere.

There's still work to do with the team's offense.

The Chiefs rank 30th in total offense, average just over 250 yards per game.

The good news is this week's opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, are giving up an average of 370 yards per game.

The Jags struggle stopping the run and the pass.

The Chiefs need to stop the Jags' running attack if they hope to get their second victory of the season.

The Jags are eighth-best in the league, averaging just over 135 yards on the ground each game.

Jags head coach Jack Del Rio played two seasons for the Chiefs in 1987 and 1988.

He made 122 tackles as a linebacker.

His Jacksonville teams have beaten the Chiefs twice in three meetings.

This is a game the Chiefs should expect to win.

There haven't been many of those this season.

Prediction: Chiefs - 24
Jacksonville - 17
