The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver Yamon Figurs and released linebacker Matt McCoy on Tuesday.

Figurs comes to the Bucs after he was released by Detroit on September 30. Originally a third round selection by Baltimore in the 2007 NFL draft (74th overall), the wideout has appeared in 28 career games and has three catches for 86 yards with a touchdown. He also has 309 punt return yards and a touchdown and 75 kick returns for 1,746 yards and a score.

The 27-year-old McCoy saw action in four games this season without registering any statistics. For his career, the second round pick (31st overall) of Philadelphia in the 2005 draft has totaled 53 tackles and two sacks over 39 games with the Eagles, New Orleans and Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay also announced that they have signed offensive lineman Marc Dile to the practice squad and released wide receiver Pat Carter and defensive tackle Rashaad Duncan from the practice squad.
