Josh McCown will compete for starting quarterback spot with Mike Glennon

McCown agrees to two year deal

TAMPA - Free-agent Quarterback Josh McCown never got to leave One Buc for Texas or New York.

The former Chicago Bears QB agreed to a two-year deal today with the Buccaneers worth $10-million, plus incentives that can kick the total to $15M.

McCown will compete with Mike Glennon for the starting job.

About 20 minutes before the 4pm deadline, the Bucs cut Darrelle Revis, leaving only a fourth-round pick going to the Jets, and 16-million in camp space saved.
