Raymond James Stadium to host 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football  (CONCACAF) Gold Cup will return to Raymond James Stadium in 2017.

Tampa Bay will play host to a Group Stage doubleheader on July 12.

Headlining these Group B matches is the United States Men's National Team; their second Gold Cup appearance in Tampa Bay (2011).

“We could not be more excited to welcome the CONCACAF Gold Cup for a second time,” Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Rob Higgins said.  “We have an extremely passionate and growing soccer fan base in the Tampa Bay area, and we look forward to celebrating another fantastic night of top-tier soccer on July 12 at Raymond James Stadium.”

Raymond James is also set to host the NCAA National Championship game in January of 2017.
