Bulls F Thomas out with broken arm

Chicago Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas will miss the next four-to-six weeks after fracturing his left forearm during a weight training session on Friday.

Thomas suffered a fractured radius, and will undergo surgery on Saturday. In four games this season, Thomas has averaged 8.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.

The fourth-year LSU player has appeared in 229 career games -- 95 starts -- and has per-game averages of 7.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.
