Getting to know Tampa Bay Buccaneer Wide Receiver Mike Williams with this week's 10 questions

Are you ever curious about the real lives of politicians, celebrities and athletes?

Who are their mentors and who would they really like to meet? What's in their fridge?

Each Tuesday, ABC Action News asks the same 10 questions of a bay area leader or celebrity. They're fun questions that let you get to know the person.

In this week's profile, we're thrilled to hear from Tampa Bay Buccaneer's Mike Williams. The wide receiver was drafted last year in the fourth round.

Williams has proven to be a force to contend with. He scored eleven touchdowns in the 2010 season. And, then started this year with touchdown in the season opener against the the Detroit Lions.

Williams is also active in the community. His involvement includes working with Metropolitan Ministries and singing Christmas carols for residents in a retirement home.

And, as you will find out in this week's 10 questions, singing is not just a mere past time for this star receiver.

1.) What is your all time favorite movie or song?

"My favorite movie is Matilda. I didn't want to say this at first, but that's my favorite movie because when I was younger I always wanted to have magic and do the things she did. I think I was trying to use parts of my brain that I couldn't use. One day I think I'll be able to use them."

2.) Do you have a Smartphone? If so, What's your favorite app?

"Yes, I have an iPhone. My favorite app is my Wachovia app so that I can check my bank account and see what is in there."

3.) Who do you count as your mentor(s)?

"My mom; my high school coach; Bill Russell; all of my receivers; wide receivers coaches Eric Yarber and coach Berbenich. They are the people that are just always helping me all of the time."

4.) What was your very first job?

"My very first job, I worked at the Salvation Army and helped kids. I was 14 years old."

5.) If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

"If I could change one thing about myself, I would be faster. I want to continue to be faster."

6.) What do you consider your greatest success?

"My greatest success is something that I am still gaining on and that is making it to the NFL. I think getting here is a goal that I accomplished that people always thought I couldn't do and wouldn't do. People said I wouldn't be able to catch a ball in the NFL, and I got 11 touchdowns my first year, so I'm glad I was able to prove them wrong."

7.) Tell us something about you most people don't know?

"Something that most people don't know about me is that I can sing. I'll sing any song. If you give me a song, I'll break it down for you. I've started writing a little bit, and I've even got a song that I'm working on."

8.) If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?

"I would have dinner with President Obama, Tupac Shakur and Mozart. Mozart and I would talk about playing music and things like that. I want to sing on a couple of his tracks. Have a little remix."

9.) What is in your fridge right now?

"A whole bunch of Gatorade and a lot of fruit."

10.) If you could have a different career, other than what you're doing now, what would it be?

"Creating cell phones. That kind of was my second job, breaking down cell phones, building them back, and helping people with their phones. So creating cell phones would be my job."
