Police searching for USF campus flasher

A USF student was walking on the Tampa campus when an unknown man flashed her.

The incident happened Tuesday morning at about 10:20 a.m. According to University Police, the female student was walking westbound on the Willow Drive sidewalk when a white male was walking eastbound toward her. She told police, he flashed his genitals at her. Neither said a word to another when they passed each other.

The male was last seen walking into Lot 17. Police immediately search the area, but couldn't find him.

He is described as clean shaven, in his early 20s, about 5'08" tall, 175 lbs. with brown hair. He was wearing khaki cargo shorts down to his knees and a gray hoodie with a USF logo on it.

Police issued the following safety tips to students:

  • Be vigilant and keenly aware of the environment around you.
  • Notify the police if anyone or anything looks out of place.
