BRANDON, Fla. - Hillsborough County firefighters battled a fire that broke out at a commercial warehouse in Brandon Friday.
It happened at a 10,000 square foot building near Philliip Lee Rd. and Falkenburg Rd. around 5:30 p.m. When firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters discovered a truck on fire inside the building.
They called a second alarm on the fire because of the size of the building, but firefighters were able to get it under control in about 20 minutes. The warehouse had heavy smoke and water damage, but no one was inside the building at the time and no one was hurt.
Fire investigators believe the fire was accidental.
