GAINESVILLE, FL -- Alachua County Sheriff's department is warning parents to be on the look out for suspicious activity after two 10-year-old Kimball Wiles Elementary School students say they were approached by a man before school started Monday morning.  The students say the man dressed in gray tried to talk to them.

No one was hurt, but it gave the sheriff's department an opportunity to remind parents who drop of students off early to encourage them to report suspicious behavior.

After the students told their school leaders, the sheriff's office was called and a report filed.  The suspect's description provided few details.

The Alachua County Sheriff's department asks anyone who can help them with their investigation to call Crime Stoppers at 352-372-7867.
