ALACHUA COUNTY, FL  --- Detectives are trying to find the person who stopped a 13-year-old girl as she was walking home from school and made lewd comments to her.

The teen was walking from the bus stop when a person in a car started driving toward her.

The man stuck his head out of the window and said some lewd remarks before driving away.

Detectives says the teen told them the man in his 40's appeared to be drunk or under the influence of drugs.

Anyone who can help the Alachua County Sheriff's Department is asked to call 352-955-1818.

The teen was not hurt.
