JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A 4-year-old Jacksonville girl has been killed when a television fell on her.

Lt. Larry Schmitt of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the girl was with family members at her home Wednesday night when the TV set on top of an entertainment center fell on the girl.

Authorities are investigating the accident.

Schmidtt didn't know the exact size of the TV, but said it was "fairly large." No charges have been filed and no foul play was suspected.

The child was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
