Police: Rape suspects targeted homeless women in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Authorities are investigating after several homeless women have been the victims of sexual assault in Jacksonville.

Another victim was assaulted Friday after authorities say a man came up behind her, knocked her down, dragged her to another location and raped her. It's the fourth time in three months that a homeless woman has been targeted.

The Florida Times-Union ( http://www.ittybittyurl.com/Tzy ) reports that a suspect has been arrested in one of the cases and authorities are investigating whether he may be connected to the other crimes. Authorities said the cases have similarities.
