Over the last few years there has been a wooden wall up at the edge of the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland.
Behind that wall the Magic Kingdom's largest and most creative expansion has been underway.
The last piece of wall came down to show the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster. The addition of the new coaster makes the park's multi-year expansion complete.
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster is a first-of-its-kind coaster that has you pivoting back and forth through twist and turns, hills and drops. Riders travel through the mountains and the dwarfs' mine. During the ride you can hear classic music from Snow White, spot your favorite characters and see the mine where "a million diamonds shine."
In Under The Sea, Journey of the Little Mermaid, you get to go into Prince Eric's castle. Inside you snuggle into a magic clam shell that sends you through some of your favorite scenes from the movie.
Storybook Circus is a circus play land for the kids. If Dumbo is one of your favorite rides there is good news, the park has doubled the number of Dumbos. Also you can do some high-flying twists and turns on The Barnstormer, a Goofy-themed roller coaster.
If you are hungry you will not be disappointed. Gaston's Tavern will help you refuel with a quick break and a bite to eat. Cinnamon rolls and Lefou's Brew, a drink made with frozen apple juice and toasted marshmallows are the featured items.
The gem in this new area is the restaurant Be Our Guest. It is located in the Beast's Castle. You may dine in one of three themed rooms that place you right in the middle of the Beauty and the Beast story. During the day it is a quick service eatery and then at night it features table service.
Disney Imagineers have again created an area where no matter how old you are it's easy to be a kid.
