DELTONA - When a 19-year-old Deltona man was confronted by his grandmother about drinking her wine, he responded by biting her in the shoulder Tuesday, according to a Daytona Beach News Journal.
The suspect, Blake Hale, also gave his grandfather a bloody nose.
Deputies responded to 59-year-old Sue Wilson's call at her Deltona home, and she told deputies that her grandson bit her.
Wilson said he appeared to be intoxicated, and she noticed two of her wine bottles were finished.
When she asked Hale about it, she said he became defensive, a verbal argument ensued, and he yelled profanities toward her.
Then the argument became physical and he reportedly bit her on the shoulder as she walked out of the door. Deputies noted that Wilson did have a bite on her shoulder.
Wilson's 70-year-old husband, who is Hale's grandfather, received a bloody nose from his grandson.
Hale was arrested and charged with battery on a person 65 or older.
