Small meth lab discovered in Pinellas Park, 1 person arrested

PINELLAS PARK, Fla - One person is in custody for attempting to make meth inside her apartment. 

According to an affidavit, Misty Haack was arrested for attempting to make meth using a plastic bottle, lithium batteries, Sudafed and lighter fluid.

Pinellas Park Police responded to the narcotics call at the 4000 block of 76 th Avenue North in Pinellas Park at about 2 p.m.  Police believe that the meth lab is for personal use and consumption. 

The fire department were on standby as a precautionary measure due to the chemicals and toxic materials used in the making of meth.

No other units were evacuated in the apartment complex.
