Shooting on 4th Street, E. in Bradenton leaves victim with non-life-threatening injuries

A Bradenton shooting victim was discovered this morning when a man woke up around 3:30 a.m. to  hear his dog barking and opened his front door to check on things. 

There he saw a man who had been shot lying in his front yard.

EMS and deputies responding and the victim, who has yet to be positively identified, was taken to the hospital. His injuries appear to not be life-threatening.
