Kacee Martinez remembers every detail of the last moment she saw her husband alive.
"He kissed me on my forehead and asked me if I needed anything and gave me a hug and kiss and told me he would be right back," she said.
Every day since, Martinez has wondered what happened to her husband, Emelio.
Martinez was 16 weeks pregnant in December 2010 when her husband left to get dinner but never came back.
"I looked outside and noticed that there was a bag of Chinese food in my driveway and from that moment I knew something was wrong," Martinez said.
Police found her husband eight days later in a parking lot on Orient Road in Hillsborough County.
He had been abducted and murdered.
"Forensically in this case we've come up empty handed, and that's really unfortunate," said Tampa Police Maj. Mary O'Conner.
O'Conner said investigators found no reason why someone would want him dead.
"Somebody knows something. Somebody out there knows what happened to him. Somebody knows what transpired in those eight days that he was gone," O'Conner said.
Now, almost four years later, Kacee is busy raising their son, telling him how proud his father would be.
"It's a joy to see his smile, my son's smile, because it reminds me a lot of his father," Martinez said.
She wonders what it will feel like to finally get the call from police telling her they made an arrest.
"I can only imagine it bringing up the pain again but peace as well knowing that this has finally come to an end," Martinez said.
