University of South Florida detectives released video of a person of interest, who they want to speak with, regarding a man exposing himself on campus.

Last Thursday, detectives received 3 different reports of a man with his private parts out at USF. One of those incidents happened outside Juniper-Poplar Dining Hall. Detectives said the second incident happened outside the Fresh Foods Dining Area, which is located in the Argos Center. The last incident happened in the Beard Drive Garage.

"I've been here 4 years and this has never really happened so really (it's) a weird occurrence," USF Student Ray Diaz said.

Wednesday evening, detectives released surveillance video of a man walking into and then leaving the Argos Center the same night and around the same time a man exposed himself on campus. Detectives need help identifying the man in the 20 second surveillance video. They called the man on the video a person of interest.

Kaylyn Over received alerts about the incidents last week.

"It was honestly shocking becoming a freshman student and not knowing what to think or how to react or how to protect myself, walking around at night," Kaylyn Over said.

Kaylyn Over said she does not walk alone on campus now because of the incidents.

"We have a wonderful program called Safe Team here on campus and that's what I've done I've called them whenever I'm across campus," Kaylyn Over said.

USF detectives said the incidents from last week may be connected to a case from last fall. They want people to share the video of the person of interest in order to help find the man who exposed himself on campus.

"(I'm) definitely going to be sharing (this) with my family. I've already talked to them about it, but I definitely want this taken care of and this guy caught," Kaylyn Over said.

If anyone has any information about the person of interest in the video or the incidents that happened last week, contact the USF Police Dept. at (813) 974-2628.
