TAMPA - Two people were injured by gun fire last night at a house party in Tampa.
Officials say their injuries are non-life threatening.
Tampa police say residents at 1710 E Annie Street were having party and around 2:30 a.m. someone at the party began shooting a gun into the air while another person began shooting in a horizontal direction.
Two people were hit by the gun fire. One victim had a wound to the left middle finger and the other victim sustained gunshot wounds to the right forearm and left hand.
Those attending the party fled the area. Police found multiple shell casings in the intersection of Annie Street and and Elmer Street.
Police say information gathered at the scene is limited and they still don't know why the shooting began.
