The royal baby watch was not the only baby watch on in Tampa Bay
Two mothers say hello to their own princesses

TAMPA - For Guerdy Jean , news that the royal couple, Kate and William, were at the hospital expecting came as a bit of a surprise.
"Everyone is calling. They're like, 'Did you know Kate is having her baby too?' Um, no, I was pretty busy." That's because Guerdy was busy delivering her own royal princess. At 9:00 Monday morning, at Tampa General Hospital, Guerdy gave birth to a 6-pound, 5-ounce beautiful little girl.
Over at the Florida Hospital, it was the same thing.
"I was a little preoccupied," Amanda Torres would explain, because at 8:08 this morning, Amanda would say hello to her 8-pound little princes as well.
But Amanda should have known something was up. "The whole time I was pregnant, my mom would tell me they got married around the time that Princess Dianna got married, and I was born around the time Prince William was born."
And so while the world was on royal watch, these two moms were on their own royal watch, welcoming their little ones with their royal names, Tegan Nicole Torres and Laila Alexandria Gaines.
