Tampa native gets engaged on "The Bachelorette"

Denny and Lauren Murray teared up when they saw their eldest son get down on one knee.

"It was lovely. It came from the heart. It is not scripted. You know that, and it was amazing for me to see that," said Lauren.

The Murrays are confident Andi Dorfman is right for their son, even though the track record for Bachelor and Bachelorette couples isn't the greatest.

"They have a lot going with them. They both live in Atlanta, and a lot of couples are far apart. They both are really ready," said Lauren.

Denny said, "We are just really happy for both of them."

Although Denny said he saw the stress on his son's face when it seemed Andi might be going in a different direction.

"Oh yeah, he was sweating. But that's alright, guys should sweat a little during a proposal!" said Denny.

A packed crowd at the CinéBistro shared in their joy. All 99 tickets sold out quickly for the largest room in the theater. Proceeds will help feed the homeless through the family's church, First Presbyterian in Downtown Tampa. The Murrays said Josh would be so proud to see this hometown turnout.

"He went to Jesuit High School. He comes from that world of giving back, and I know he would think this is amazing," said Denny.

The Murray's said that nothing can take away this moment even Nick Viall bombshell moment discussing what happened during the overnight suite when he discussed intimate details.

"We are praying for him. We know he is hurting. The only thing Josh is focusing on is the moment he put that ring on her finger, that is the beginning of their future," said Lauren.

And now this family, is ready for the next step.

"I get to meet Andi's parents on Thursday and I am really excited. We are just very excited and we are ready for grandbabies!" said Lauren.

"For sure," said Denny.
