TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn helped open the new Duckweed Urban Market by attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store, at 803 N. Tampa Street, moved from a smaller spot on Polk Street.
.Owner Michelle Deatherage said with 4,000 square feet of available space, the new location will be more than just a grocery store.
A kitchen inside is set to open in about a month, along with seating. Customers will be able to order food, then sit down to eat on the premises.
